We understand it is not easy to be active, but have a variety of fun and free options for all ages and abilities to help patients achieve their health goals.
- Parkrun / walk – Lordship Recreation Ground parkrun
Parkrun is a free, fun and friendly weekly 5-kilometre community event. We are fortunate to have one at the Lordship Recreation Ground in Tottenham. You can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. Everyone is welcome.
2. Tottenham Green Leisure Centre – Seated class with fitness instructor (Michael)
Tynemouth Medical Practice have linked up with Tottenham Leisure Centre, to help introduce patients to movements that improve strength, function and pain from conditions such as osteoarthritis.
Join the team and fitness instructor Michael for the monthly class the first Tuesday each month at 1.20pm. Patients over 65 years old can also have free gym membership during off-peak times (9-5 Monday to Friday). If you would like to find out more, please ask a member of staff.
